The defect

Possible exposure to air and moisture may cause the driver's airbag to inflate abnormally.

The hazard

In the event of an accident, the airbag may deploy with a force different to that specified by the manufacturer, posing an injury risk to the vehicle occupants.

The remedy

Volvo Group Australia will contact all affected owners by direct mail. If an owner is concerned about their vehicle, they should contact their nearest authorised Volvo Group Australia repairing dealer for more information or email warranty@udtrucks.com.au.
