The defect

The sliding electrical contacts in the driver's side power window master switch may have been lubricated with insufficient quantity of grease. During normal operation, wear residue from the electrical contact points can accumulate between the terminals where the grease was insufficiently applied.

The hazard

This wear residue could potentially form a short circuit between the contact points that may result in a fire hazard.

The remedy

Owners of the involved vehicles will be contacted by mail at the last known address. Owner's are advised to contact their authorised Toyota Dealer for inspection and rectification.
