The defect

The steering box cover has an improper shape. This may affect the sealing of the cover, possibly allowing water leakage, which may cause rusting and then wear.

The hazard

If wear is present an abnormal noise may be heard and in worst case scenario the steering may become inoperative, posing a potential accident hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy

Consumers should contact their nearest Suzuki dealer for inspection and replacement of the affected cover and boot set
