The defect

The inner diameter of the cylinder that wraps the piston on the parking brake may be wider and therefore not sealing inside the caliper.

The hazard

This could cause brake fluid to leak and in a worst case scenario the brakes may become inoperative, posing an accident hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy

Customers will be contacted by direct mail. The vehicle should be taken to an authorised Suzuki dealer for inspection and the countermeasure parts to be fitted.
