The defect

The fastening bolts on the water pump pulley may not have the correct tension, and the bolts may loosen. If the vehicle continues to be driven the belt may come off, causing the warning light to illuminate, and possible engine power failure.

The hazard

If the defect occurs the engine will stop, and may not restart.

The remedy

Suzuki Australia will contact all affected consumers via mail. Consumers will be directed to their Suzuki Dealerships
