The defect

A pneumatic valve in the Hill Start Assist system may be incorrectly connected.

The hazard

If this valve is connected incorrectly, air supply to the rear brakes may be disrupted, increasing the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy
