The defect

The rear tyres within this production range may not meet manufacturing specifications and could develop cracking or deformation of the tyre tread. As a result, the tyre tread could detach partially whilst riding. This could lead to a loss of vehicle control.

A loss of vehicle control whilst riding could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to rider(s) and other road users.

The remedy

Owners of affected motorcycles will be contacted by Suzuki Australia in writing. Owners can also contact their nearest authorised Suzuki dealership team for further advice.Note: Avoid riding the motorcycle until further notice.
