The defect
The reverse lamps may not illuminate and the rear-view reverse camera may not display the rearwards image when reversing as intended.
The hazard
If the reverse lamps and the rear-view reverse camera do not operate as intended, it could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to persons located behind the vehicle and/or other road users.
