Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

Brake lines installed on the affected motorcycles might be installed under strain. The vibrations that occur when the motorcycle is being ridden could cause the brake lines to develop leaks.

The hazard

A leak would cause the level of fluid in the reservoir of the front brake system to drop. If the level drops until the reservoir is completely empty the result can be failure of the front brakes.

The remedy

The motorcycles affected by this problem must be converted to an updated brake line with modified geometry and sleeves installed.
