The defect

Relates to the park brake locking mechanism fitted to the N16 Pulsar 5 door hatch. There is a possibility that the park brake may self-release as a consequence of an impact with the park brake lever.

The remedy

Known owners have been notified by mail. All affected owners should contact any Nissan Dealer to arrange for replacement of the Park Brake Control Lever. This will be carried out at no charge to the owner of the vehicle.
