The defect

The injectors’ fuel supply rail may pose a leak risk in the long-term.

The hazard

If the fuel rail fails it will cause a fuel leak and can cause fuel to spray over the hot areas in the engine bay and it could result in a fire hazard, damaging the vehicle or injuring the occupants or passerbys.

The remedy

Owners of a vehicle listed by VIN should immediately contact an authorised Peugeot dealer to have fuel injection rail checked and, if necessary, replaced.
