The defect

Due to a software issue, the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) may not operate as intended. This could result in the AdBlue low level warning light not illuminating. A software update is required to ensure the correct operation of the warning light.

The hazard

There is no safety hazard associated with this recall and the defect will not affect the performance of the vehicle.Vehicles that experience this issue may not comply with Australian Design Rule 79/04 – Emission Control for Light Vehicles.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Peugeot requesting them to schedule an appointment with their local dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.
