The hazard

If the deviation occurs the owner may notice noise and in the worst case scenario, it may lead to loss of drive resulting in immobility of the vehicle and loss of of power steering assistance.

The remedy

Volvo will write to all affected consumers by mail. If repairs are necessary, dealerships will replace the belt and the belt tensionser.
