The defect

The vehicle headlights may not illuminate when stalk switch is turned on and may suddenly turn off or illuminate intermittently while driving, due to improper crimping of the internal wire terminals.

The hazard

The headlights might suddenly turn off or start flashing, posing an accident risk for the vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

Affected owners will be contacted by direct mail and advised to contact their nearest Volvo Group Australia repairing dealer to arrange an inspection and repair of the vehicle.Owners who have concerns about their vehicle should email vga.warranty@volvo.com or contact their nearest Volvo Group Australia repairing dealer.
