The defect

There is a possibility that the fastening screws for the fuel collection pipes on the affected vehicles can loosen and shear off.

The hazard

There is potential for leakage to cause a smell from the vehicle. In extreme worst case situations, if the fuel comes in contact with an ignition source, there is potential for fire.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by mail and provided with instructions on how to arrange for the replacement of the fastening screws.
