The defect

A deviation has been detected in the joint between the two halves of the spring brake chambers in the parking brake circuit. The deviation may cause the spring brake chambers to split at the flange, which affects the safety of the vehicle.

The hazard

If the defect occurs it will result in reduced braking, which poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.
