The defect

In the unlikely event of an accident, which may result in the deployment of the front passenger side dash mounted airbag, small pieces of the airbag module may break free.

If the defect occurs, the small components may cause injury to the vehicle occupants.

A letter will be sent to owners of affected vehicles.
