The defect

Due to incorrect material used and routing of the fuel tank breather tube (main to sub-tank) near the exhaust, the breather tube may be damaged by heat from the exhaust which could lead to a fuel leak.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, there is a possibility of a fire hazard.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by mail at their last known address.Toyota Dealers will replace the fuel breather tube at No Charge to the owner - Repairs will commence mid March.
