The defect
The internal frame of the dash-board may not have been manufactured correctly. In the event of an accident this may restrict the deployment of the passenger-side airbag.

The hazard
If the event of an accident, the air bag may deploy abnormally, increasing the risk of injury to the occupant.
The remedy
