The defect

In certain instances, the misrouting of the engine wiring harness may interfere with the intake manifold retaining bolt or tumble generator valve.

The hazard

If the defect occurs, the consumer may experience rough idling of the vehicle and/or malfunctioning indicator lamps. In the worst case scenario the engine may stall and not restart, although steering and braking capacity will exist until the vehicle comes to a stop. This poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy
