The hazard

If the rear wheel hubs and bearings break, the driver may lose control of the vehicle and create a hazard to the driver and other road users.

The remedy

A letter will be sent to affected owners.Consumers should contact their nearest Porsche dealer to arrange for the wheel hubs and wheel bearings on the rear axle to be replaced.
