The defect

A concern has been detected relating to the incorrect routing of the curtain air bag strap. If the curtain air bag was to be deployed, the air bag strap may cause displacement of A-pillar inner trim. This concern was found by Nissan Motor Company Japan during side impact testing however at this stage we have no reported cases of this incident in Australia.

Nissan Motor Co. (Australia) Pty Ltd will write to owners of all affected vehicles at their last known address advising them to contact their nearest Nissan Dealer to arrange rectification of their vehicle.
