The defect

1. In certain vehicles piston damage may occur as a result of a less than ideal combustion process. If the vehicle continues to be driven in this condition engine oil may be ejected into the engine compartment and could come into contact with hot components.2. It is also possible the threaded insert for the park brake adjuster may not perform as designed due to an out of specification wall thickness. A failure of this component could result in a loss of park brake effectiveness.
