The defect

There is the potential for the Accumulator fitted to the Hydraulic Brake Booster (HBB) to lose pressure.

The hazard

If the Accumulator loses pressure, the brake pedal effort may be increased immediately after the engine starts after being stopped for a prolonged period, and the brake assistance may be delayed under rapid pedal application, increasing the risk of an accident.
