The defect
The battery may be insufficiently earthed to the vehicle chassis. As a result the vehicle may exhibit a range of electrical faults, including engine cut out while being driven and lose of all electronics.

The hazard
Losing power while driving increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
The remedy
Owner of affected vehicle will be contacted by Jaguar Land Rover and are asked to make an arrangements with their nearest authorised Jaguar Land Rover retailer/authorised repairer to have the work carried out as soon as possible free of charge.
