The defect

The fuel supply pipe attached to engines may be defective, which may result in a fuel leak.

The hazard

If a fuel leak occurs, this can result in an engine compartment fire. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of an accident, serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy
