The defect

There is a possibility that the low pressure fuel line under the hood can leak at the connection point

The hazard

In some circumstances, there is a potential of a small fuel leakage causing a fuel smell from the vehicle and in worst case situations, if the fuel leak comes in contact with an ignition source, there is potential for fire.

The remedy

A letter will be sent out to all affected vehicle owners advising them on course of action. Customers may also contact their nearest Porsche Centre.
