In rare instances during a crash, this condition could lead to fuel leakage.

The remedy

Owners of vehicles within the affected range will be advised to contact their Nissan Dealer to arrange for the fuel tank and fuel gauge packing to be replaced. The rectification will be at no cost to owners.
