The defect

1. It is possible that chafing to the vehicle's electrical wiring harness may occur in the vicinity of the Base Module. Should the wiring harness be damaged as a result, electrical malfunctions might include failures in the lighting, Airbag and signalling systems, or electrical short circuits on non-fused wiring. 2. The electrical wiring harness located at the top of the cab may be subjected to vibration/chafing damage by the inspection flap during vehicle operation. Harness damage could result in electrical malfunctions in the lighting, Airbag and signalling systems, or electrical short circuits on non-fused wiring.
