The hazard
Components detaching from the vehicle may cause a hazard to other road users, increasing the likelihood of an accident that could result in the injury or death of vehicle occupants and/or other road users.
The remedy
Owners are asked to contact any Authorised Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealer, who will replace the shim plates with a stronger version, free of charge.Owners should phone 1800 033 557 for the contact details of an authorised Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealership.
