The defect

The outer layer of the brake hoses at the front and rear axles may have been damaged during the production process.

The hazard

Affected brake hoses may leak brake fluid. This will reduce the vehicle's braking power and directional stability, increasing the risk of an accident that could cause injury or death of the vehicle occupants or other road users.
