The defect

The system comprising of the fuel tank, fuel tank filler neck and fuel tank filler neck gasket may leak and fuel may escape.

The hazard

There is a risk of fire if the fuel leaks.

The remedy

Affected owners will be contacted by direct mail notifying them of the recall. Owners should contact an authorised KTM dealer to arrange an appointment for their motorcycle. Authorised dealers will replace existing components with modified components, free of charge.Consumers can find an authorised dealer using the dealer search option via http://www.ktm.com.au/
