The defect

There is the possibility for engine oil to leak from one of the hydraulic tensioner's on each of the cylinder heads on the engine.

The hazard

The engine oil may leak onto the engine sump and onto the tyre increasing the risk of a crash. This may cause serious injury to riders and other road users.

The remedy

Ducati Australia will contact owners of affected motorcycles by mail to notify them of the recall and request they contact their nearest authorised Ducati Dealer to arrange an appointment.Authorised Ducati dealers will re-tighten the two hydraulic tensioner's free of charge.For further information, consumers can contact their nearest authorised Ducati dealer by using the following link https://www.ducati.com/au/en/dealers, or email info@ducati.com.au.
