Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

The Antilock Brake System (ABS) fuses/and or fuse box holders, may have been incorrectly installed during the wiring assembly. As a result, the ABS unit may not be adequately protected, and the fuse could blow deactivating the ABS system while braking. If this occurs during a hard braking situation, the ABS will not function, and the front and/or rear wheel may lock, potentially leading to a loss of vehicle control.Note: The ABS warning light will appear on the instrument cluster to alert the rider that the ABS function is no longer available.
