The defect

Due to the weakness of a component in the 'quick connector' on the fuel supply line, fuel may leak at very high engine compartment temperatures.

The hazard

Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source may cause a fire. If this was to occur there is a risk of serious injury to vehicle occupants, other road users and property.

The remedy

A letter will be sent to affected owners advising them of the recall. Consumers may book their vehicles in for a free-of-charge.Until your workshop appointment, if you smell fuel coming from your vehicle, park it safely and immediately contact your nearest official Bentley dealer by phone.
