The defect

A rear seat backrest may be fitted on which the mounting for the head restraint is not correctly welded to the outer backrest frame for the rear seat.

The hazard

The support and protection functions of the head restraint may be restricted in the event of an accident which could cause serious injury to the occupant.

The remedy
