The defect

On affected vehicles, if the water drain in the area of the panoramic sunroof is not functioning properly, water can seep into the vehicle’s headliner.

The hazard

If enough moisture accumulates, the foam adjacent to the gas generator of the curtain airbag can become wet. This can cause corrosion on the gas generator, which could cause the pressure cylinder of the curtain airbag to burst.

The remedy
