The defect

Testing has shown that the passenger airbag does not meet the applicable standard. The defects relates to the balance of the trigger times between the belt tensioner and passenger airbag.

The hazard

This may increase the risk of injury to vehicle occupants on the passenger side of the vehicle during the deployment of the passenger airbag.
