Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

Due to improper assembly, the indicator and rear lamp control switch wiring harness may become damaged due to vibration which could cause an internal short circuit. If this occurs, the turn signal system (front and rear), brake lights, horn, meter, hazard lights, taillight, and license plate light may illuminate as intended.

The hazard

If the vehicle's lights do not operate as intended, other road users may not be able to identify the vehicle at night, this could increase the risk of an accident causing serious injury or death to rider and/or passenger and other road users.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Honda Australia Motorcycles asking them to schedule an appointment at an authorised Honda Motorcycle Dealer to have the repair carried out, free of charge.
