The defect

Due to a manufacturing defect, the threaded connection between the high-pressure fuel pump and the fuel rail may become loose. If this occurs, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source and could result in a vehicle fire.

The hazard

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and/or damage to property.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted and are asked to contact their preferred authorised Peugeot dealership to schedule an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge.
