The defect
The rear and side reflectors fitted to the affected motorcycles may not meet the requirements of Australian Design Rule 47/00 – Retroreflectors.

The hazard
If the reflector has insufficient luminosity, affected motorcycles may be less visible to drivers of other vehicles, which could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death of the rider and/or other road users.Vehicles may not be compliant with Australian Design ADR 47/00 – Retroreflectors.
The remedy
Owners of affected vehicles to contact their authorised dealer to make an appointment to have the reflectors replaced as soon as possible, free of charge.
