The defect
The rear spare wheel carrier U-bolt may not meet manufacturing specifications. As a result, the rear spare wheel carrier could detach from the vehicle.

The hazard
If the rear spare wheel carrier detaches from the vehicle whilst driving, it may increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.
The remedy
Owners of affected vehicles should either raise a warranty claim via the Cub Campers website www.cubcampers.com.au or alternatively, contact the head office to arrange for the bolts to be replaced.This recall includes any Cub Camper variant fitted with a rear spare wheel carrier.
