Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

Due to an issue during manufacture, the Hydraulic Control Unit Anti-lock Brake System module may not perform as intended. If this occurs, the brake lights may illuminate or allow the vehicle to start and shift out of park without the brake pedal being depressed. This may result in an unintended vehicle movement.

The hazard

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest Jeep dealership to schedule the work carried out, free of charge. The repair can be performed by any authorised Jeep dealer, regardless of where your vehicle was purchased.
