The defect

Due to a software issue with the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) may fail without warning. This may result in a loss of vehicle control.

A loss of vehicle control will increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles should immediately contact an Authorised RAM Dealer to have the work carried out free of charge.
