The defect
On eligible units, there is a possibility that the ignition coil mount bracket may fracture as a result of repetitive large impacts from jumping etc.

The hazard
If the ignition coil mount bracket should fracture, this could result in a loss of spark to the engine, potentially causing an accident.
The remedy
Kawasaki will write to owners of affected vehicles.Owners are advised to return the affected vehicles to their original selling dealer if possible, or alternatively any authorised Kawasaki dealer, who will perform the necessary repairs free of charge.
