The defect

The front suspension lateral link bolts may not have been tightened sufficiently and may become loose or separate from the sub-frame. This could result in a loss of vehicle control.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact Tesla through their Mobile-App and make arrangements with their nearest authorised Tesla Service to have the work carried out free of charge.
