The defect

Due to a manufacturing issue with a hose in the automatic transmission, fluid may leak from the transmission which could result in a loss of motive power.

A loss of motive power while in use could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

The remedy

Owners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest authorised Isuzu dealer service department to arrange to have the recall carried out free of charge.
