Verify before you act. Recall details and remedies can change. Our database is updated regularly but may not reflect the most recent revisions. Always confirm with vehiclerecalls.gov.au or your vehicle manufacturer before acting on the information below. Read our full disclaimer.

The defect

A manufacturing defect in the fuel pressure line may result in a fuel smell and/or fuel seepage. Since the fuel lone is working under a constant pressure, some seepage can, within a short period of time, potentially develop into a greater leakage.

The hazard

In a worst case scenario, such leakage may, with the addition of an external ignition source, potentially lead to a fire in the right front wheel house area.

The remedy

Contact your Volvo Dealer to organise inspection and, if necessary, replacement of the fuel pressure line.
