The defect
An incorrect manufacturing process may cause the vehicle's resin fuel tank to leak.

The hazard
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a vehicle fire. If this was to occur, there is an increased risk of serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
The remedy
