The defect

On affected vehicles manufactured with a specific period, foreign particles in the coolant may lead to a blockage in the additional coolant pump and cause the pump to overheat.

The hazard

In isolated cases, if not repaired, the overheated coolant pump has a potential to catch fire.

The remedy

Owners will be contacted by direct mail.
